Your computer is probably full of audio and video files. Quick Player is a tool that can open various types of formats.
The software has a modular architecture, with multiple programs that can be launched from the same interface. It is comprised of various players (audio, video and CD), a playlist creator, a web browser and a media searcher.
The audio player comes with a customizable interface. You can choose the background and font color, as well as the transparency levels.
The songs can be navigated with the help of the player buttons (play, pause, stop, previous and next). You can add as many tracks as you want, either by browsing the disks or by dragging and dropping the files into the app’s interface.
The player can also be viewed in “mini mode”, which shrinks the interface to a narrow bar, with navigation buttons and spaces for the song name and time.
The app supports various formats, such as MP1, MP2, MP3, OGG, WMA, ASF, WAV and MID.
Quick Player also includes a video player. You can load files like AVI, MPEG, MPG, M1V, WMV, ASF and MOV. These can be viewed in two size options – 50% or 100%. Also, the software enables you to watch the video in full screen mode.
The CD player has a simple interface, with only a few buttons. Aside from these, it hosts a few numbers in the lower area of the frame that enable you to jump from track to track.
All in all, Quick Player is a nice app if you want to open each type of media with a different player. Inexperienced users should find the program easy to work with, thanks to the overall lack of advanced settings.

How can I watch .MOV files without QuickTime?
I've found a solution to use the '3ivx codec', but it doesn't work. Any idea?

I use videolan. It's features list lists MOV as an input format.

VLC is worth a try.
Apple has made it difficult for third parties to do anything interesting with .MOV files. Their published documentation is extremely stale, new codecs are virtually undocumented, and they have a license agreement that basicly says you won't even try.
Quick Player For Windows
I use a codec pack named 'K-Lite', it sometimes comes bundled with media player classic, which i don't like, so i recommend you to download the basic version, which doesn't have that player included and still supports .MOV files. KLite-Codec Pack
